When you donate please indicate whether you want to: make a General Membership donation or support the Water Quality Fund:
Your general membership donation will be used for ongoing operating expenses such as rent, newsletter printing, postage, internet service, and insurance. The membership year is from August 1 through July 31 of the following year. Please renew it annually.
- Basic Household membership suggested contribution is $35.00/year
- A Sustaining Membership is a contribution of $100.00/year and higher
- Your contribution of any amount is appreciated.
Donation to the new Water Quality Fund: This fund, established thanks to a generous $12,000 donation from an anonymous member, will support our water quality monitoring efforts in the bay and tributary streams. It will cover items such as testing equipment and supplies, laboratory sample kits, analysis of samples performed by university or commercial laboratories, and support of student participation in the program. Donating to this fund will sustain this work year over year, and allow planning ahead. With detailed, long-term data we can influence policy decisions about the bay and surrounding watershed. Our goal for the fiscal year is to match or exceed the $12,000 gift.
A donation to either fund will give you a membership to Friends of Taunton Bay for one year. Friends of Taunton Bay is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization. All contributions are tax deductible to the extent provided by the law. We encourage gift memberships, as well as organization and business memberships!
